Ageism In Oncology: A True Generation Gap Crisis
Cancer is overwhelmingly a disease of people over 65 years old.
Yet despite the numbers, this population of Survivor/Thriver more often than not will experience bias and prejudice in their health care journey which affects the quality of care they receive resulting in inferior outcomes and healthcare disparities.
