Part 2-Listening to the Nurses
Since time immemorial, Doctors have given the orders and Nurses have carried them out. Far too often nurses have been berated and disciplined for questioning an order, disagreeing with the mighty MD, or just standing up for their patients.
Although things are better, there’s still a lot of work to do to create a mutually respectful and equitable work environment so our courageous Survivor/Thrivers can have the best outcomes possible.
